Tips for confronting COVID

The World Health Organisation has declared the coronavirus (COVID-19) a pandemic requiring a global coordinated effort. In an effort to do our part we are getting the information out to patients on what they can do to help not only the clinic, but the community.

We’re encouraging all patients to continue to attend schedule appointments on the basis they are not experiencing any of the symptoms associated with the disease. These symptoms include:

  • Fever,
  • Flu-like symptoms such as coughing
  • Sore throat
  • Fatigue and/or shortness of breath

Stop the spread

Wash your hands frequently with soap and water, before and after eating, and after going to the toilet.

Cover your cough and sneeze, dispose of tissues, and wash your hands.

If unwell, avoid contact with others (stay more than 1.5 metres from people).

Exercise personal responsibility for social distancing measures.

Knowing the different symptoms of coronavirus and other similar conditions if helpful too

Patients are still very much welcome at the clinic! Aside from if you are feeling unwell or in isolation, we are still moving forward with treating our patients aches and pains to help them feeling and moving better. Our ability to reschedule patients is flexible so please reschedule appointments when needed by contacting reception on 03 9580 1820

Take care, POC family
