Parkdale Osteopathic Clinic is pleased to conduct Yoga classes in our purpose-built ‘movement studio’.
Yoga cultivates health and wellbeing (physical, emotional, mental and social) through the regular practice of a range of many different techniques, including postures and movement, breath awareness and breathing exercises, relaxation and concentration, self-inquiry and meditation.
The maximum capacity of the studio is 5 people per class and a teacher. Please use of the new online booking system to reserve a place in a class and avoid the chance to drop in to the studio and not being able to participate. The booking system allows you to get on the waiting list in case there is a cancellation. Cancellations must be done at least 12 hours before the beginning of a class.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own mats although the studio is providing mats and blocks that have been thoroughly sanitized before and after use.
Looking forward to seeing you on the mat.

Regular yoga practice has the potential to provide mental clarity and calmness; increases body awareness; relieves chronic stress patterns; relaxes the mind; centers attention; and sharpens concentration.
The relaxation techniques incorporated in yoga may lessen chronic pain, such as lower back pain, arthritis, headaches and carpal tunnel syndrome.
Other physical benefits of yoga may include:
