Chris has news on the Clinic make-over, Open day and Womens Day article.

Well I hope everyone had a fabulous festive season, full of good quality family time, relaxing and (a little) indulging!

It’s hard to believe January has come and gone, and for most of us it’s all about re-establishing routines again. I’m certainly appreciative of my little get away, enjoying some family time in Narooma and the Gippsland Lakes, but now the battery’s been recharged, and the clinic is firing on all cylinders again. I’d like to thank the crew for ‰’holding the fort’ whilst Carly and I were away. The clinic did appear busy when open, and it pleases me that all patients were attended to as soon as possible.

This year is shaping up to be busier than ever, especially in the first quarter with some exciting events coming up. In the next month we will be completing the final phase of our clinic make-over, where we will be re-carpeting the entire practice, and also fitting a brand new reception desk. Once complete, we are going to organise an ‰’Open day’, where we will open up the clinic for the day, allowing the public a ‰’sticky beak’ of the new-improved premises, and also an opportunity to speak with an osteopath and learn more about what it is we do, why we do it and how we can possible help you. So we’ll keep you posted with the Open day date, and as we are a practice that thrives on word of mouth recommendation/s, we would certainly appreciate any of our valued patients spreading the word on the Open day.

Finally, just before Christmas I had the opportunity to do an interview with a journalist from Women’s Day, discussing some aspects of osteopathy and how our typical sedentary lifestyle is affecting our bodies. Hopefully, the article will be released very shortly (perhaps the February edition?), so hey, look out for my ‰ugly mug’!

‰’Til next time,

Chris.
