On behalf of the POC team, I would like to sincerely thank you for your ongoing support and patronage in what will truly be a year in which we will never, ever forget!
In my 20 years of practice and business ownership, I have never felt more stressed/worried/anxious…. and conflicted! I mean, we’re in the health service industry right, and we were never busier at having to turn our valued patients away!!
Rules are rules I know, but it was still damn hard.
We were fortunate though to at least remain open as an essential service throughout the toughest of restrictions, and provide assistance to those who truly were in a bad way.
We also managed to navigate our way through a couple of team member changes, welcoming Shane and Cat to the ranks, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience and individual skill sets they have brought to the practice this year.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all my other ‘essential’ team members; Connie, Ainslie, Tayla, Rebecca, Julianne, Christina (yoga), Carly, Mardi and Jac (reception). All have been amazing at ‘pivoting and shifting’ as was required, from devising triage protocols, to amending templates and creating questionnaires (you know the ones we’re talking about!), to even offering online services (telehealth and yoga) – Carly and I cannot thank you enough for digging in when necessary, you guys are amazing!
